Electric car batteries by Farasis Energy offer high energy density and high performance to ensure long range and fast charging. Together with a long lifecycle, our batteries are state-of-the-art technology and put Farasis Energy among the top 3 suppliers when it comes to the global consumption of lithium-ion pouch batteries.

Our Generation 1 cells currently in use have an energy density of 285 Wh/kg, which positions them as one of the key players at the top of the international market. A range of more than 700 kilometers can be achieved with these cells depending on the size of the battery.

We are expanding the portfolio of our fourth generation of lithium-ion battery cells for electric vehicles with an ultra-high-power variant which offers both, range and fast charging.
With an energy density of 330 Wh/kg, a range of around 1,000 kilometers can be achieved. Customers who attach more importance to fast-charging capability will benefit from a battery with an adapted cell design. This may have an impact on energy density, but allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes in fast-charge mode. It can take 8 minutes or even less of fast charging to add 250 kilometers of range.

Fast charging

Our battery solutions are able to recover 250 km in range after 8 minutes, or even less, of fast charging. The advanced charging strategy used allows for fast charging in a manner more sustainable for the battery’s long-term health.


Farasis battery products are recognized by top OEMs, meeting ISO, UL, UN and other international standards. Our self-developed i-BMS (intelligent battery management system) improves product safety, efficiency and performance.


We are setting new standards in performance and life time! With Generation 1 cells, we have mass-produced battery products with 285 Wh/kg, will soon be launching solutions with 330 Wh/kg with Generation 4 cells, and are developing products with 400 Wh/kg in parallel with Generation 5.

Long lifecycle

Farasis Energy has independently researched and developed a form semi-solid electrolyte to create a long service life exceeding 2,500 cycles. The battery cell warranty exceeds 500,000 km, providing long-term battery life stability and high vehicle residual value.
