Why Farasis?
As a leading global producer of lithium-ion batteries, we have one goal: to shape the future of battery-based energy supply as a top tier technology partner for the electric vehicle, industrial machines, and energy storage sectors.
We offer sustainable energy storage solutions that are researched, developed, manufactured, and trusted world-wide. As a driver in the field of battery technology, we think lithium-ion batteries further. We combine long range and fast charging with sustainable production, offer tailor-made cells, modules and packs, responsible end of life management, and adjacent services along the entire value chain.
In short: we do everything to provide you with the best possible solution. Among our main strategic partners are major companies such as Geely, Mercedes-Benz, and Togg.
Why “Orange”?
You wonder why you keep seeing the word “orange” again and again? Here’s the story behind “The color Orange”:
In the ancient Chinese philosophy of Confucianism*, yellow was associated with light and fire, red with spirituality and sensuality. The complementary interaction between the two yielded orange, the colour of transformation.
In an EV context, light and fire translate to performance. Spirituality and sensuality translate to the diligance and passion with which Farasis Energy works on battery solutions. With establishing orange as the colour of performance in batteries, we harken back to the tradition as the foundation of progress and signal the company’s will to drive the transformation of modern mobility.
Orange is the vibrant, joyful combination of both. In terms of sustainability, we are green. But to us, sustainability is a prerequisite in contemporary battery production. Our commitment to the environment and sustainability has led us to the slogan “Thinking Batteries Further“. Orange is the new green!

Global Deployment
Performance Knows No Borders
There are currently two production facilities in Ganzhou and Zhenjiang (China), with further production facilities being built by 2025, thereby increasing total planned capacity to 145 GWh/a.
A new battery plant is also being built in Gemlik (Turkey) with the establishment of the Siro joint venture between Turkish electric car manufacturer Togg and Farasis Energy Europe.
