YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You simulate the thermal behavior of cells, modules and packs for automotive HV battery systems including thermal runaway of LI-ION Batteries in 2D/3D 
  • You carry out complex simulation and work on optimization of 3D simulation models and improvement of simulation processes / method development 
  • You analyze and evaluate test data to fit reaction models and closely collaborate with the testing team 
  • You work closely together with the design team to optimize the geometry and present results to the customers 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have successfully completed your (Master or PhD) studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable subject 
  • You have more than 5 years of experience in automotive thermal simulation and basic chemical knowledge / knowledge in simulating chemical reactions 
  • Experience with ANSYS Fluent/CFX and/or ANSYS Mechanical is benefical  
  • Experience in scripting using Python or experience with other programming languages is mandatory. 
  • Direct experience on automotive battery thermal simulations/ thermal runaway highly preferred 
  • Very good analytical understanding and good ability to present and explain your results to others 
  • Fluent English and German, Chinese language skills as a plus 
  • In addition, flexibility, independence and you have a high degree of willingness to perform and learn
