Farasis Energy USA is an exciting in an exciting space - advanced lithium-ion battery technology focused on developing and commercializing innovative energy storage solutions to meet the increasing global demand for improved battery performance, cost and safety.  We are currently in a rapid expansion phase globally, working with companies in the automotive space like Daimler / Mercedes Benz, and others in the industrial space.

Job Summary: We are looking for a Production Worker with a positive and hard-working mindset! Team players only please, we're a small team of under 15 so every employee is an integral part of our accomplishements. The ideal candidate will have the capability of performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Work Schedule:  Monday - Fridays, 6am - 3pm

Key Responsibilities:  The following responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Report any unsafe acts or working conditions to supervision immediately
• Adhere to standard work instructions to ensure a high standard of safety, production efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction
• Perform repetitive tasks for guaranteeing quality of parts as they move through the production line
• Prepare parts for shipment as well as perform some shipping and receiving material handling activities
• Notify Quality Technician and Supervisor of defective parts or equipment, which might hinder the assembly process
• Support continuous improvement activities within the production processes
• Perform 5S Activities in workspace during every shift to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Must be willing to be cross-functional and participate in job rotations
• Participates in team meetings to exchange any job-related information ensure quality standards are being met
• Support operating as a team
• Be a team player
• Other duties as required ensuring that Farasis Energy meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs.

Key Requirements:

• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Pass a drug screen 
• Have reliable transportation
• Show up to work for every assigned shift on time
• One year experience in automotive industry preferred, but willing to train

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to operate various production related tools such as torque tools, lift assist, etc.
• Must be a team player and communicate effectively with all Farasis team members
• Assist in continuous improvement and be adaptable to change (including new ideas, projects, and practices)
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions well
